About
Hi! I’m Dylan Krapf, a marketing student at the University of Tampa graduating in December 2024. I am a professional individual with a robust background in social media management and event marketing/management and equipped with skills learned through formal learning, several internships, and real-world work experience. Upon graduation, I plan to immerse myself in the sports and entertainment industry, with a specific interest in marketing.
I chose to attend the University of Tampa Sykes College of Business due to its outstanding programs and its dedication to ensuring students leave with a well-rounded experience. Completing my undergraduate studies at a profound University in sunny Florida has been an absolute delight, and I will take all that I’ve learned throughout my future career endeavors. My coursework at UT focused on Digital Marketing, Promotion and Branding Strategies, and Marketing Strategy. I will be receiving my Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing following the completion of the Fall 2024 semester, and look forward to contributing the skills I’ve gained throughout college at an established organization.
Formal Education
Experience
As a student at UT, I fulfilled several roles related to marketing and management. My earliest position was a Social Media Assistant for UT’s Admissions Office. Another position that sharpened my skills was a Marketing Manager position with Student Productions, the on-campus events club. In this role, I created a comprehensive marketing plan from start to finish for the largest on-campus concert, Party in the Park. This summer I also interned with Visit St. Pete Clearwater as a Marketing Management Intern. My current position is an Event Management Intern with USF Athletics, in which I work hands on at all football games at Raymond James Stadium to ensure smooth event operations.
Beyond my formal education, I pursued and completed industry certifications in Content, Inbound, Search, Email, and Social Media Marketing. These certification courses enhanced my expertise across these areas, which are critical to career in marketing. Additionally, I am proficient with graphic design tools including Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud. The skills I have in these softwares allow me to create visually engaging content that aligns with proper digital marketing strategies.
Hard Skills
Soft Skills
I’ve developed strong skills in teamwork, project management, and organization through my internships and academic projects at UT. These experiences have allowed me to collaborate with others effectively, manage deadlines, and coordinate multiple tasks at once. I’ve overall strengthened my ability to work seamlessly within teams, manage projects from start to finish, and implement strategic planning to ensure smooth workflows. I look forward to bringing these skills into a professional environment.
